Transform The Way You Learn

From firing up engineers’ passion for Design of Experiments (DoE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to intriguing them about how relevant these seemingly-difficult concepts can be in daily life, Thinksmart aspires to do more than just ensuring our workshop participants acquire technical know-how.

About Us

Thinksmart is the brainchild of ex-engineers with more than 20 years of combined experience in the semiconductor industry. Driven by our love for anything technology-related , as well as creative training methods honed over the years of interacting with young engineers, Thinksmart was born in 2006.

Knowledge improvement with problem solving skills mastery has always been our coaching focus. And, we never lose sight of the importance of developing participants into critical thinkers and good communicators.

We believe strongly in unlocking every participant’s intrinsic motivation in learning before imparting them with the metacognitive awareness to unlearn old habits while relearning new ones. We aim to have every participant in our programs unlearn and relearn in a continuous, self-directed manner so that each of them eventually acquires the growth mindset that can positively impact your organization.

Our Programmes

Higher-order Thinking (HOT)

Learn anything faster and transfer skillsets swifter, by keeping track of your thinking processes, recognizing patterns and making connections.

Design of Experiment (DoE)

Find the sweet spot in your manufacturing processes, systematically but quickly and cost-effectively, by changing several factors, all at once.

Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Data-driven decision making with no distractions from "vanity indices" is important. Chart what matters most and avoid data overload to stop firefighting.

Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA)

Mistake-proof your manufacturing processes by deep thoughts and systematic data collection

Introduction to Wafer Fabrication Processes

Build a physical model with layers of colourful jelly and effectively visualize microscopic processes

eMentor Development Service

We help you transform your existing engineering learning materials into an eMentor within your learning management system (LMS)
